Designer's Delight

 - In Honor of The 10 Deisgners -

The Battle of Versailles is declared in Fashion History as the most anticipated and Historic Runway Show of all Time.  It consisted of both America’s and France’s most celebrated Fashion Designers who showcased classic Haute Couture, thought-provoking Avant-Grande, Innovative Sports-Wear, and Modern Ready-to-Go Collections. Tonight, choose from one of the event’s Designers listed below and redesign a look from their collection reimagined by you. You can showcase your design using a Muse or decide to model the look on yourself. However, you must bring  7 printed  copies of your inspiration (no cell phones).

We are looking for well-constructed, tailored, and innovative designs. The judges will have a chance to review your Design Up-Close-and-Personal to inspect for any signs of an Un-Constructed, Un-Tailored, and/or Un-Innovative design.

The Designers are as follows:

French Designers;

Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Cardin, Emanuel Ungaro, Marc Bohan, and Hubert de Givenchy.

American Designers;

Oscar de la Renta, Stephen Burrows, Halston, Bill Blass, and Anne Klein with her assistant Donna Karen.
